I Have Got A Friend

I have got a friend,

Time with whom I spend,

Laughing at all my silly jokes,

And listening patiently to all my views,

Understanding all my feelings

Patience, I cannot understand

Cheerfulness, a never ending land

When you smile once in a while,

It makes me remember,

Soft someone nearer,

Close to my heart,

Close to my eyes,

There you stand,

Beyond a thousand miles,

I have looked at the moon ten times,

Stars a hundred,

But at you never a time

Still I say,

If you want me closer

Just close your eyes,

And I’ll be only a heart beat away,

And there you go.

Just smiling away; to what I say

Just smiling…..
